Our two luxury tents, Totara + Karaka, sit on 1.1 hectares of secluded land on our 340 hectare organic farm.
Each luxury tent has it's own private deck surrounded by a secluded garden, outdoor seating, BBQ, private bathroom with a hot shower, queen size bed and sofa that makes up into 2 single beds for children.
The campsite has a shared kitchen with a fridge and stovetop, a sun terrace & hammock.
There is a communal 13m diameter “shade tent” with bean bags, hammock and swing rope.
The nearest airport is Whangarei Airport, 31 km from Durham Farms Waipu.

Situated alongside a river, immerse yourself in nature as you lounge on your private deck on Cape Cod sun chairs, read a book under the large marquee, take a snooze on the hammock whilst the kids play on the swing rope or paddle in the river that meanders slowly by.
Discover the farm walk farm walk to see our chickens and veggie garden or visit our farm shop, where you will be able to buy a good selection of our fresh farm products. Or venture further afield to the village of Waipu with its cafes and the nearby beautiful, white beaches.
